Jason Rudd to Drive No. 31 Dodge
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- RepairOne(R) announced today that it has teamed up with Brevak Racing as an associate sponsor for the No. 31 Dodge truck in the opening race of the 2005 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series(R). Series rookie Jason Rudd, nephew of NASCAR Nextel Cup star Ricky Rudd, will drive the No. 31 RepairOne(R) Dodge on February 18 at Daytona International Speedway in The Florida Dodge Dealers 250.
Bob and Shelly Brevak, owners of the No. 31 Dodge, have had a long-standing relationship with truck sponsor Todd Hayes, founding partner of RepairOne(R). The two first teamed up in the early 90s when team owner and 1990 ARCA Champion Bob Brevak was driving in the ARCA Series.
"As team owners, Bob and Shelly bring the true spirit of what racing is all about," said Hayes. "It has always been a pleasure working with them, and we're all looking forward to a great race in Daytona."
RepairOne(R) sponsored the No. 31 Dodge in last year's opening race, when the truck was unfortunately caught up in "the big one" on lap 50.
"Participation in racing through sponsorship will always be an important part of building the RepairOne(R) brand and image," added Justin Tjarks, RepairOne(R) partner. "Last year's race brought valuable national exposure to our company."
