RepairOne® Expands Marketing Effort to Reach Greater African American, Hispanic Audiences

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (May 10, 2005) – RepairOne® Automotive Repair and Service Centers in Central Florida has expanded its award-winning advertising effort to more effectively reach African American and Hispanic residents in Volusia County and will be rolled-out nationally to their affiliate group. The expanded “Car Trouble? RepairOne We Fix Everything!” advertising campaign will include a new 60-second radio commercial, Spanish-translation Web site, and specially targeted media placements.

The new Spanish language 60-second radio commercial was produced in association with Houston-based Moffett Productions, and will begin airing immediately on WNUE 98.1 FM. The company’s award-winning Web site, www.RepairOne.com , is currently being expanded to include a Spanish translation option. RepairOne® has also signed long-term advertising schedules with The Daytona Times and WPUL-AM, two African American-oriented media outlets serving the local community.

“From the launch of the RepairOne concept in 2002, our advertising campaign has worked very well in building the RepairOne brand and in reaching new customers, employees and future investors,” said Todd Hayes, Founding Partner of RepairOne®. “In addition to more directly addressing our African American and Hispanic customers, our expanded advertising plan will allow us to create new opportunities and continue building the diverse company culture we’ve created at RepairOne®.”

According to Justin Tjarks, RepairOne Partner, RepairOne® maintains a commitment to fostering and celebrating diversity in the community and their company. As part of that commitment, RepairOne® recently sponsored a 2005 Cultural Diversity Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to local minority high school or college students. Created by the Daytona Beach Advertising Federation, the RepairOne® scholarship awarded $500 to a Jennifer Surgent, an advertising student at Daytona Beach Community College. For their ongoing support and dedication, RepairOne® was also recently awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from Bethune-Cookman College, one of the nation’s most outstanding historically black colleges, located in Daytona Beach.

RepairOne® is a privately held company based in Daytona Beach, Fla., formed to create and grant the Master Franchise Rights and Area Development Rights of automotive repair and service center stores franchised under the "RepairOne" name. RepairOne® is an established retailer throughout the United States, with locations in densely populated, suburban areas that provide easy access for customers.
