DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 01, 2005) – RepairOne® received three Gold ADDY awards and one Best of Show at the 2005 ADDY Awards Gala hosted by the Daytona Beach Advertising Federation on Saturday, February 26 at the Daytona Beach Museum of Arts & Sciences. RepairOne® also sponsored a $500 Cultural Diversity Scholarship, which the company presented at the event to Jennifer Surgent, a local graphic design student.
RepairOne® brought home Gold ADDYs for outstanding creative work in the following categories: Audio/Visual Sales Presentation (RepairOne® Road Show Video); Sound, Music with Lyrics (RepairOne® Web site Jingle) and Elements of Advertising, Logo (Central Garage Logo). The company’s Road Show Video also won Best of Show Electronic.

The 2005 Cultural Diversity Scholarship sponsored by RepairOne® was offered to any minority high school or college student pursuing an advertising-related degree and who completed a 500-word essay on the understanding of a need for a more diverse and inclusive workforce for the benefit of the local community. A letter of recommendation was also needed from a teacher or professor. RepairOne®, a culturally diverse employer, provided one $500 scholarship to Jennifer Surgent, a student at Daytona Beach Community College.
The Daytona Beach Advertising Federation consists of nearly 100 of the greater Daytona Beach area’s advertising industry professionals, including agencies, printers, media, suppliers, public relations professionals, independent businesses, corporate marketing representatives, educators and students.
